Edelweiss is family-owned restaurant located in south Colorado Springs. Edelweiss has European furnishings and a German biergarten in summer, along with three fireplaces, which are lit up during the winter. Food at Edelweiss includes traditional dishes like jagerschnitzel (pork in mushroom sauce), bratwurst and sauerbraten (marinated beef), along with more contemporary entrees such as baked crab meat sandwiches and coconut shrimp appetizers. Edelweiss has an extensive selection of beers, both bottled and on tap, including pilsners, lagers, Warsteiner Dunkle and Weiss beer. The Edelweiss banquet room can handle groups from 10 to 140. The patio can be used during the summertime as well. Groups larger than 30 are limited to menus of 4 to 5 items, but customized menus are printed for guests to order from on the day of your event.
