Appletree Campground is open all year round and is located on Big Pines Highway, two miles west of Big Pines and 25 minutes away from Los Angeles. The campgrounds have only eight tent sites available and vault toilets. The campgrounds have no water, however. An adventure pass is required for RV and other vehicles to park at this campsite. Daily rates apply.

Malibu Beach RV Park is located in southern California and operates 142 RV sites as well as 35 tent sites. The park features an ocean or mountain view escape for all sites. This beach's campgrounds offer basic amenities that include RV propane service, a dump station and trash disposal areas, grills and outdoor lanais on all sites.
