RV Parks Close to Hillsboro, Oregon

Hillsboro, one of the oldest cities in Oregon, today is a thriving center for both the high-tech and agricultural industries. Incorporated in 1876, Hillsboro is located just 30 minutes away from Portland and 60 minutes from the Pacific coast. Eighty thousand people call Hillsboro home, making the city the sixth largest in Oregon. Although there is only one RV park within Hillsboro's city limits, find additional RV accommodations in Portland's surrounding suburbs.

    • The Washington County Fair Complex is conveniently located adjacent to the Fair Complex Light Rail Station, which transports passengers west to downtown Hillsboro or east to Portland and Gresham via the Portland area's MAX Blue Line transit system. Although this RV park is intended for exhibitors and event participants at the Washington County Fairgrounds, the general public may rent short-term RV campsites as space allows. Reservations are not accepted. The park features 14 sites with water and electricity, but no dump station or guest facilities. Park regulations allows only self-contained RVs and prohibits tent camping. Guests can stay a maximum of seven nights every six months. The park closes each year to the public for the entire month of July.

    • Roamer's Rest RV Park is located in Southwest Portland along the Tualatin River.     • RV Park of Portland, a big-rig-friendly park conveniently located near Hillsboro, offers easy access on and off Interstate 5 and State Highway 205 in south Portland. The park features 112 full hook-up sites with water, sewer, 30- or 50-amp electricity, cable television and wireless Internet access (for an additional fee). The park has completely paved roads and parking pads and features grassy areas in between sites, a number of which are pull-throughs designed for larger RVs. Park amenities include guest restrooms with showers, coin-operated laundry facilities, and management welcomes leashed pets.

Children are welcome under adult supervision at all times, and management also welcomes leashed pets weighing less than 40 pounds. The park is minutes from downtown Portland and Hillsboro restaurants and services.
