Las Vegas, Nevada is never lacking in activities for visitors and locals, although it does have some events that happen only in March. You can visit its famous resort casinos, multiple museums and wildlife preserves, exotic nightclubs, fantastic shopping, gourmet restaurants and lush, professional golf courses any time during the year, but the spring season is one of the best times to visit the city---the climate is cool enough that you can stroll the Strip during the day comfortably.
The Las Vegas Motor Speedway, which consists of a 1.5-mile super-speedway, 2.5 mile road course and more, hosts multiple events in March, such as the Super Chevy Show and Mopars at the Strip. NASCAR also holds annual races here, including the UAW-DaimlerChrysler 400 and the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series Sam's Town 300 race, bringing NASCAR greats such as Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr. to the city.
