Las Vegas is home to 17 of the 20 largest hotels in the United States. This interesting fact is a testament to the size of the city's tourist and gaming industry. Las Vegas receives millions of tourists a year and the city makes sure there are plenty of points of interest and forms of entertainment for its guests.
  1. Twilight City Helicopter Tour

    • A helicopter tour is an alternative to the typical Las Vegas walking tour. Sundance Helicopters, the largest helicopter company in Nevada, offers several tour options that include flights over Las Vegas. The Twilight City Helicopter Tour is an aerial tour of Las Vegas and surrounding areas. The tour begins with round trip limousine transportation from most Las Vegas hotels. Guests are transported to the company's Las Vegas terminal and an awaiting six-passenger jet helicopter.

The helicopter departs and begins the 30-minute flight over Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Colorado River. It then heads towards the Las Vegas Strip and the Fremont Street Experience downtown. All the seats on the helicopter are forward facing and allow each passenger a 180-degree view of the city below. As of September 2010, the Twilight Tour starts at $220 per passenger.
