The Adam Diaz Senior Center is located east of 43rd Avenue on the south side of Thomas Road. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Adam Diaz Center is on the bus line for those who wish to ride the bus. Their clubs and classes consist of arts and crafts, crocheting, knitting and ceramics. They offer monthly trips, birthday parties along with special events. Game lovers can enjoy darts, billiards, bosco and puzzles, according to Phoenix.gov.

Deer Valley Park sits on the southwest corner of 19th Avenue and Wahalla Lane. It is one block south of Beardsley Road and offers generous parking. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Activities include arts and crafts, ceramics, writing, support groups, computer class and painting. Enjoy a game night playing pinochle, bridge, bingo or poker. Movie lovers can take in a movie at Deer Valley Senior Center. Fitness activities include walking and tai chi, according to Phoenix.gov.

Manzanita Senior Center is located on the southwest corner of 35th and Northern avenues. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. It offers a wide variety of activities. Enjoy the day by taking in an arts and crafts class, oil painting, quilting, computer classes, Laughter Club and a weight loss class. Stay physically active with the Line Dance class. Sunny Slope Senior Center is on the bus line for those who use that transportation. It is located on the northeast corner of Eighth Street and Vogel, north of Dunlap Avenue. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. It offers an arts and crafts class, support groups and a relaxation class. Enjoy their weekly dance, special events and birthday parties. You could spend the afternoon playing bingo, bridge, table games, ping pong, pinochle and billiards. Stay physically fit by taking an exercise class.
