Madison is the capital of Wisconsin and the Dane County seat. Tornado Steak House is a top downtown Madison venue. It offers white-linen dining in the atmosphere of a supper club. Included on its menu are steaks, pork, duck, rabbit, lamb, seafood and fish. The restaurant is open for dinner seven days a week, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., or later if necessary, as of 2010. It calls itself the “home of the bone-in tenderloin,” featuring beef from grass- and corn-fed cows. Specials have included Fish Fridays, Prime Rib Saturdays and Chicken Dinner Sundays. Below the Tornado Steakhouse is the Corral Room, an underground nightspot with live music, which is open to the public Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights, and is also available for private parties.

Prime Quarter Steakhouse is a relaxed, casual restaurant located near the Wisconsin State Capitol. Expanding from a single location, it now has four restaurants operating in Wisconsin and in Illinois. It is a grill-your-own steakhouse with a personal concept in quality dining, where customers have fun cooking their own steaks at an indoor hickory charcoal grill. Selections include T-bone, Kansas City strip, top sirloin, teriyaki top sirloin, filet mignon, beef brochette, teriyaki beef brochette, ribeye and a catch of the day.
