Williamsburg, Virginia, is a historic colonial town in the Historic Triangle, along with Jamestown and Yorktown. The town retains many original buildings in the historic area, and the DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum and the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Folk Art Museum are popular and important cultural attractions. Shopping in Merchant's Square is also a featured attraction, as is the Busch Gardens theme park. Williamsburg attracts many visitors throughout the year and is well served as a popular location for dining out.

    • Berret's can be found in Merchant's Square in the heart of Williamsburg, and just one block from the popular Historic Area. The restaurant offers two dining experiences in one location--the Taphouse Grill, and the main seafood restaurant. Seafood is locally sourced from the York and James rivers, and nearby Chesapeake Bay. The Taphouse Grill is closed from November through March, but the main restaurant is open year-round. During January and February, the restaurant is not open on Mondays.

    • This restaurant was established in 1985, and is still owned by the two brothers who founded it. It is now a popular gathering place for locals and visitors alike. The menus feature seafood items and grilled steaks plus salads, soups and desserts. Local and imported beers are available from the bar, and there is an extensive wine list. The bar also features a list of its own specialty cocktails. Second Street is open for lunch, brunch and dinner, and reservations are accepted for parties of eight or more, Sunday through Thursday, but not at other times.

    Blue Talon Bistro

    • Downtown visitors can start the day at the Blue Talon with fresh-baked croissants, pastries and coffee. The restaurant serves this breakfast special from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. daily. A bar menu is available for snacks, and full menus are available for lunch, brunch and dinner. The menus feature French cuisine, including crispy frog's legs, and dishes originating in Provence and all areas of France down to the Mediterranean coast.
