    The Cheese Shop of Virginia

    • This legendary deli is a local staple with a five-star rating from Frommer's Travel Guide. This family owned business opened in 1971 and uses only the best quality meats and cheeses, and bakes all of its breads daily. The restaurant offers wine, beer, salads and sandwiches as well as many different types of cheese--goat, sheep, fresh, kosher, blue, firm, organic and soft. All sandwiches are made to order, according to guests' request. It is open daily from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and does offer a children's menu.
