Although Nashville is the biggest country music city in Tennessee, Memphis is just as well known for its music, and has produced some country greats like Johnny Cash, as well as the King of Rock 'n' Roll--Elvis Presely. With such a strong musical heritage, it's no wonder the state's largest city would be home to a broad spectrum of dance clubs. While many clubs play hip-hop and Top 40, there are still a few that stick with the city's country, blues and rock roots.
Senses is a place where locals and visitors can dance to all types of music, including country, all weekend long. The club is open to anyone over the age of 18 and gives Memphis folks a taste of the Las Vegas night life with a swanky setting, strobe lights, DJs, a full menu and unique cocktails. The space is big and is separated into multiple rooms for dancing, eating and lounging.

Wild Bill's is the classic, all-American bar and country club. The bar features live music from local and nationally known country and jazz musicians nightly and, unlike other dance clubs, Wild Bill's is open seven days a week. Music lasts nightly until 3 a.m., so you can party hard and dance all night. The bar offers a full menu and inexpensive beer, but if you're looking for cocktails and fancy lounge chairs, this is not your place.
