Miami's music scene is heavily dominated by Latin rhythms, hip-hop, and electronic music. However, South Florida as a whole is surprisingly friendly to country music. There are only a few choices within the technical Miami city limits, but if you're willing to venture to nearby Broward or even Palm Beach counties, your options will increase.
Round Up is off the beaten path from Miami, in the western-themed suburb of Davie, in Broward County. However, it's probably the most popular country dance club in South Florida. If line dancing is your thing, this is your place; patrons here do everything from the two step, to the cha cha, to east coast and west coast swing. The club also offers dance lessons, and hosts regular concerts by up-and-coming touring artists. If get hungry from all that dancing, there's also a full dinner menu.

Alabama Jack's is a hidden treasure worth visiting on your way out to the Keys. However, if you live in South Miami-Dade, it's not too far to visit for an evening. Relatively hidden on Card Sound Road, it's a favorite for bikers, but features live country and western bands on the weekend. Again, there's a full menu of delicious bar food.

Marketed as "a cure for the common bar," Scandals is located in Wilton Manors, near Ft. Lauderdale. As the name indicates, it's got an Old West theme, and features country and western (and some Southern rock) every night. Fridays and Saturdays are the big dance nights, with a DJ. There are dance lessons on Mondays and Tuesdays, too, also accompanied by a DJ.

Renegades is the furthest away from Miami proper than any other club on this list. Located in West Palm Beach, it's about an hour's drive away. However, it's worth the trip for hardcore country dance club fans, as it's also one of the largest in the tri-county area. Renegades boasts a 4000-square-foot dance floor, four different bars, and even a mechanical bull. Dance lessons are given on Tuesdays.
