Cowboys Dance Hall, also called Cowboys Red River, is known for its large dance floor, mechanical bull and many bars. The club hosts live concerts and has many pool tables. Look-a-like contests and mechanical bull riding contests are also common at this country dance club. Dance lessons are featured on certain dates and guests interested should check the website’s calendar. Cowboys is closed Monday through Wednesday. Nightly specials include ladies night, free dance lessons night and drink special nights. Guests must be 18 years of age to enter the club.

Gilley’s was established in 2003 and has 65,000 square feet of space, including three bars, great bands, a mechanical bull, five private rooms and a large, hardwood dance floor. The club hosts many live, popular country bands like the Josh Abbott Band, Brandon Rhyder and Wade Bowen. Free dance lessons are offered every Saturday night from 6 to 8 pm. Gilley’s is open every Friday and Saturday nights with a "happening" crowd and full dance floor. Guests must be 18 or over to enter.

The Round Up Saloon is another popular country dance club in Dallas. This club is for everyone, but does cater to more of a gay clientele. It has six areas that include the Parlor bar with karaoke, the Tool Shed, the Horse Shoe bar (fastest bar service), Lone Star bar, Chute 5 with pool tables and the Tequila Shack, which serves over 40 premium tequilas. Round Up Saloon has many Howdy hours (happy hours) and line dancing lessons. Events featured at the club include the Miss Cinco De Mayo, the Switch-Hitters Ball and Miss Gay Round Up. While the best nights are Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the club is open seven days a week. Guests must be 21 or over to enter.
