Katy, Texas, sits just to the west of Houston. Katy’s name comes from the M-K-T Railroad that runs through town. Katy may have originally been a farming and railroad town when it incorporated in 1945, but residents and tourists who want to relax with a drink and dance don’t have very far to go these days.
