• The Round Up in Tampa touts itself as being the city's "premiere country nightclub." The venue, which holds up to 1,000 people, is home to both live music and country western and line dancing on the 3,000-square-foot dance floor. The Round Up admits customers 18 and up and features a fully stocked bar, along with daily specials on drinks and food served by "the beautiful Round Up Girls." The club also rents out the outdoor deck for private parties. Country music fans can purchase tickets for any live act either at the door or on the venue's website.

Renegades

• Renegades, in West Palm Beach, is the spot in town for country western music and line dancing. The venue admits patrons 21 and up, plays host to live country acts from all over the United States and offers weekly dance lessons, including everything from the "Hot Potato" to the "Alligator Walk." The 2,000-square-foot Renegades offers four "antique" bars and provides other forms of entertainment, such as pool, video games and the country bar classic, a mechanical bull.

• Mavericks Rock N' Honky Tonk Dance Club and Concert Hall, as it's officially called, is located on the upstairs level of the bustling harbor shopping center in Jacksonville known as "The Landing." As the name suggests, Mavericks, with its 21,000 square feet of space, features both live music and dancing. VIP service is available in the tucked away saloon-style area of the club known as "Miss Ellie's Bardello," where guests can request bottle service. Mavericks admits patrons 21 and up and is open only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Cowboys Orlando

• Cowboys Orlando is a 20,000-square-foot country music dance club just outside downtown Orlando. Similar to Maverick's in Jacksonville, Cowboy's is a weekend hot spot, open only on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Those nights feature such specials as "free longneck beers" and contests to win country music concert tickets. Disc jockeys blast country western hits while the young party crowd line dances in unison across the floor. Cowboys admits those 18 and up.
