The village of Findley Lake has become a popular retreat for vacationers wanting to ski in winter and fish in summer. Located in the westernmost corner of New York state, it falls within the boundaries of Mina, Chautauqua County. The lake itself is not large, about 3 miles in length, but visitors are not short of activities to choose from.
Activities on the lake include canoeing, kayaking, sailing and rowing. From April to October the Findley Lake Marine on Shadyside Road offers pontoon boat rental, boat sales and service and water toys.
In summer months fishermen can find a quiet spot along the lakefront to fish for bass, walleye, muskie and panfish. Supplies can be found at the Findley Lake Marine.
