Why is Abraham Lincolns cabin in Harrodsburg Kentucky if he born there?

Abraham Lincoln was not born in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. He was born in a one-room log cabin on the Sinking Spring Farm near Hodgenville, Kentucky. The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park is located there and contains the reconstructed cabin.

The cabin in Harrodsburg, Kentucky is a replica of the one in which Lincoln was born. It was built in 1932 by the Lincoln Homestead Association and is now open to the public as a museum.
