Snowbasin Tubing in Utah

Snowbasin is a ski resort in northern Utah. One of Utah's more distant resorts, Snowbasin offers guests top-rate amenities, including a tubing hill on which tubers can fly down to the finish line of the 2002 Olympic Downhill course.
  1. Location

    • Snowbasin's tubing hill is located to the far right of the resort when looking at the mountain, past the John Paul Express Lift and near the cross-country ski trails. It lies just under the ski trail "FTS," in the shadow of Allen Peak.

    Features

    • Snowbasin's tubing hill offers four lanes of varying ability levels. The lanes are serviced by a rope tow.

    Passes

    • Tubing is available in single-ride, triple-ride, six-ride and unlimited day passes. Discounts are offered to ski season pass holders on the latter three.

    Hours

    • The tubing hill is only open on weekends and holidays during the ski season, running from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

    Additional Information

    • The tubing hill is located a short walk from the base lodge facilities of Snowbasin, via snow or parking lot. During the primary season, a shuttle bus stops near the tubing hill, providing service back to the base area near Earl's Lodge. Snowbasin offers tubers free hot chocolate at Earl's Lodge after 2 p.m.
