German Restaurants in Utah

Though it isn't obvious, there is a strong German influence in Utah. According to city-data.com, Utah has 258,496 people of German descent. The state also served as the new home of 4,500 German Mormons fleeing from the Third Reich during the years of World War II. German culture influences daily life in Utah. Because of this connection, it is not surprising to see a lot of German restaurants in the state.

- Located in Zermatt Resort in Midway, Utah, Schneitter's Restaurant is the winner of the 2009 Best of State buffets. Guests can come back everyday and taste new buffet choices each time. - Siegfried's Delicatessen is a German food establishment located in downtown Salt Lake City. Regulars keep coming back for the entrees, namely the wienerschnietzel and the fried pork leg.
