German Restaurants in Missouri

More than 42 million Americans, or 15% of the nation's total population, identify themselves as German-Americans. Many German immigrants settled in the midwestern United States, including Missouri, from about 1840 up until the beginning of World War I, with the greatest wave arriving during the 1880s. As a result, the state still features a strong German culture, complete with authentic German restaurants scattered throughout the state.
