Children under age 18 traveling with adults are not required to show photo identification, although some airlines require proof of age in the form of a birth certificate. Contact your airline before travel to see if this is required. They do need a boarding pass.
Children fall under the same rules as adults for international travel. A valid passport is required.
If a minor under age 18 is flying without an adult, the adults dropping off and picking up the child at the airport are required to show photo identification.
