How to Change an AirTran Flight Date
Life is full of unexpected surprises and so are travel plans. There's no need to panic if something comes up and you need to push a planned trip back for awhile, or if you get to the last day of your vacation and decide to extend it a few days. For a $75 fee, AirTran allows its passengers the convenience of being able to switch flight dates after their original purchase has been made.

Go to AirTran's website, www.airtran.com, and under "quick links" click on "change itinerary."

Type in the confirmation number, passenger first and last name, origin city and the last four numbers of the credit card used to make the reservation.

Change your old flight date to the new one. If you have any difficulties you can call AirTran at 1-800-AIR-TRAN (1-800-247-8726).
