Cabin baggage for short- and long-haul flights is limited to one piece, weighing less than 22 pounds, per passenger. Maximum dimensions are 22-by-16-by-8 inches. EU security rules on liquids, gels and aerosols apply. TSA rules apply to flights from the USA.
In-flight entertainment on economy flights to the United States includes on-demand movies, TV shows and music videos. Complimentary headsets and in-seat power points are available. For Business Class, travelers have their own personal 10.5-inch screen with interactive games and MP3 tracks also available.
The Aer Lingus short-haul fleet consists of six Airbus A321s and 27 Airbus A320s, configured entirely with economy-class seating. Its long-haul fleet consists of eight Airbus A330 aircraft, each with 24 premier seats and 298 economy seats. Six Airbus A350 XWB (Extra Wide Body) aircraft are due for delivery in 2014.
