Aer Lingus, the national flag carrier of Ireland, flies between its home country and Europe, the United Kingdom and the United States. The airline offers different meal options depending on your destination.
Aer Lingus has created a buy-on-board program called "Sky Cafe." The Sky Cafe meal service is offered on all flights to and from the United Kingdom and Europe.
The Sky Cafe menu features beverages, and hot and cold meal items such as an Irish breakfast, ham and cheese panini, and muffins. Snacks such as Pringles and short bread are offered as well.
The prices for on-board food and drinks are lower then those found in the airport terminal. Being able to purchase all items separately also allows you to only buy what you want to eat and drink instead of a bundled option.
All meals and beverages to the United States are free. Alcohol must be purchased unless you are in business class.
Aer Lingus allows the ordering of special dietary or religious meals up to 24 hours in advance of your flight.
