On board the airplane each passenger may carry one bag and one personal item. The latter may include a purse, briefcase or laptop bag. Bags must be 45 linear inches or less.
Each passenger is allowed to check two bags. The price for the first checked bag is $25. The second bag is $35. Passengers ticketed through Global Services, 1K, Premier Executive, Star Alliance Gold and U.S. military families moving to a new base may check three bags.
Baggage considered over-sized or overweight is charged at a higher rate than allowable checked bags. Overweight is more than 50 pounds. Over-sized is more than 62 linear inches. Military personnel and passengers ticketed through Global Services, 1K, Premier Executive, and Star Alliance Gold may carry bags that weigh up to 70 pounds and 115 linear inches before overweight charges apply. Domestically, and on flights to Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico, the price is $100 per bag one way and around $200 dollars on international flights.
