For travel to and from the United States and Canada, Eva Air operates on a "piece system." This means travelers are allowed to bring a maximum of two pieces of luggage free of charge. Bags are measured and the size you are permitted to bring depends on which class you are flying in. Business Class or Premium Laurel Class passengers are entitled to one extra bag.
Passengers are allowed to bring one carry-on bag on-board the aircraft. The bag must weigh less than 15 pounds and have an overall dimension of less than 45 inches. The traveler may also carry-on one additional item such as a purse or laptop.
There are certain items that Eva Air does not permit passengers to bring either on-board the plane or in their checked luggage. These include any dangerous items that could be used as a weapon, as well as explosives, poisons, corrosives, compressed gases, radioactive materials and oxidizing materials.
