The first checked bag is subject to a $15 fee if paid online or a $20 fee if checked at the airport; the second is $25 if paid online or $30 if checked at the airport.
The first checked bag is free. As of Nov. 4, 2009, the second checked bag is subject to a $50 fee when checked in online and a $55 fee when checked at the airport.
Travelers are allowed one carry-on bag that does not exceed 45 overall inches and weighs 40 lbs. or less, and one personal item including a purse, briefcase or laptop.
Bags weighing 51 to 70 lbs. are subject to an additional $50 fee; bags weighing 7 to 100 lbs are $100. There's an extra $100 fee for bags over 62 combined inches.
On domestic flights, liability on lost, delayed and damaged luggage is limited to $3,300 per ticketed passenger. International liability is limited to $1,500 per passenger.
Individual liquids are limited to 3.4 oz. in carry-on luggage; liquids must be packed in one, 1-quart zip-top bag per passenger.
