How do I Use an Alaska Frequent Flyer Number on a Delta Flight?

Alaska Airlines is part of the SkyTeam that, along with Delta and several other airlines, allows their frequent flyer members to collect miles by traveling on any airlline within the system. Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan members can earn miles while flying on Delta and Delta Connection flights. These miles can help a Mileage Plan member collect miles faster and cash them in for free travel on Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air, as well as many other partner flights.

  • 1 copy of boarding pass
  • 1 copy of passenger receipt

Instructions

  1. While Booking the Flight

    • 1

      Go to Delta.com or your favorite discount travel website to purchase the ticket.

      Enter your name in the "Traveler Details" section.

      Enter "Airline Program" under "Alaskan Airlines/Mileage Plan" or scroll down the pop-up menu to find it.

      Enter your Alaskan Airlines frequent flyer number in the next space provided.

      Continue to choose your seats and enter your credit card information as you normally would.

    After the Flight

      Make a copy of your boarding pass and passenger receipt for the Delta flight. The flight number, including the 2 letters of the Delta code, DL, must be included on the boarding pass.

      Scan and email the copies, along with your name and Mileage Plan number, to:
