If you want to estimate how many frequent flyer miles you’ll be earning on an upcoming trip or just curious to know how far you’ll be flying, you don’t need to perform any complex calculations to figure out the air mile distance. Use an online mileage calculator to find the information you’re looking for within minutes. Keep in mind that the actual number of miles you earn depends on the airline’s frequent flyer program rules.
Visit the webflyer.com home page and click "Mileage Calculator" in the Travel category.
Type a city name or airport code in the “Departing From” box. Type a city name or airport code in the “Then Flying To” box.
Click “How Far.” If you entered a city with more than one airport, or if there are multiple matches for the city name, select an airport from the drop-down list and click “Submit.”
Look under One Way Distances to see the distance between the two airports in air miles. Look under Round Trip Distances or double the one-way distance if you want to know the number of air miles from one airport to the other and back. The last column shows the distances in kilometers.
