Call (800)772-7117 to speak to a Spirit Airlines representative. Inform the representative that you want to redeem Spirit Air miles.
Provide the Spirit Airlines agent with your Free Spirit account number, your name and desired travel destination and dates. Some dates may be unavailable for Spirit Air miles redemption, and you may be asked to provide an alternate date of travel.
Reserve a one-way flight to your destination. Round trip flights require additional Spirit Air miles. You may incur some cost if your Spirit Air miles account balance is not high enough to support a return trip.
Visit SpiritAir.com and enter your log-in information. If you have not created an account, hover your mouse over the "Free Spirit" button and select "Enroll" from the drop-down menu and enter required information. Required information includes a valid telephone number, address and email address.
Click "Redeem Miles" on the left side of your Free Spirit account page. You will be presented with two options. Select "Redeem miles for an award ticket" to immediately book travel; choose "Free Spirit redemption requirements" to check the balance of your Spirit Air miles account and determine if your destination is eligible for free travel.
Compare your available mileage with the current Award Ticket Chart to ensure your miles have been correctly tabulated. If you believe you have too few or too many Free Spirit miles, call Spirit Airlines customer service at (800)772-7117.
Select your destination from the drop-down menu and choose an outbound travel date from the calendar provided. Click "Redeem my miles" and wait for confirmation.
Select your return flight from the drop-down menu and choose a return travel date from the calendar. If you do not have sufficient miles to receive a free ticket, you will be quoted a fare and prompted to enter a method of payment for your return ticket.
