How to Redeem Mabuhay Miles

Mabuhay Miles, the frequent flyer program of the Philippine Airlines (PAL), offers traveling patrons free local and international PAL flights and free booking class upgrades in their preferred flights. The miles can also be transferred to family members and friends who have Mabuhay Miles accounts.

Aside from accumulating miles through PAL flights, there are other partner merchants that also allow you to earn more miles by purchasing their products or using their services.

Check your Mabuhay Miles card to get your Mabuhay Miles number. Confirm your available miles online or by phone to see if you are already eligible for miles redemption. For international flights, available tickets for redemption must be roundtrip tickets. For local flights around the Philippines, you can redeem one-way or roundtrip flights.

The number of accumulated miles needed to redeem free flights depends on your preferred destination. The minimum number of miles required for redemption is 3,000 miles. You can confirm the required number of miles for a specific travel destination through the Mabuhay Miles website or you can call the Mabuhay Miles customer service.

Choose your travel destination. You can also transfer miles to the Mabuhay Miles account of your family member or friend. Redemption can be done any time of the year.

    • 3

Go to the nearest PAL ticket office to request Mabuhay Miles redemption. Complete a travel award redemption form provided at the ticket office. It is highly recommendable to first call the PAL reservations phone number to make your flight booking, then just pick up your award ticket at the nearest PAL ticket office within three days from the date of your award reservation. If you (or your authorized representative) don’t personally pick up the awarded ticket within the given time period, the reservation will be canceled.

You must provide the following documentary requirements (both original and photocopies) when claiming an award ticket: Mabuhay Miles membership card or Mabuhay Miles numbe; and one valid ID with photo and signature such as a driver’s license or passport. If somebody else is picking up the ticket at the PAL office, you must also provide an authorization letter and one valid ID with photo and signature of your authorized representative. If you are redeeming your miles for a family member's or friend's account, you must also provide a valid ID with photo and signature of your beneficiary.
