Visit the Delta Air Lines website. Travel and non-travel awards can also be purchased using the SkyMiles Marketplace webpage. SkyMiles members can also make award travel reservations on Delta and Delta Connection flights using the airline's website. To book award travel on Delta's partner airlines and SkyTeam member airlines, you must call SkyMiles reservations at 800-323-2323.
Search for awards on the SkyMiles Marketplace. For travel awards, enter the desired dates and destination or destinations to search for seat availability. Bookings can be made for air travel, hotel reservations, and car rentals. After entering your desired dates and destinations, you will be able to view and select available options. SkyMiles members can also search for or browse non-travel awards, including food products, fashion and beauty products, and electronics. The total number of miles required for your award, as well as any applicable fees and taxes, will also be displayed in the search results.
Purchase your non-travel award or book your award travel. After selecting your travel or non-travel award, enter payment details using a credit card to complete the transaction and pay for any applicable taxes and fees. Governmental and non-governmental transportation taxes, security fees, airline award travel fees, and shipping costs for non-travel awards may be applicable.
Print your purchase confirmation or travel itinerary for your records. You will receive a confirmation of your purchase by email. For travel awards, you will be issued an e-ticket and you will need to use your SkyMiles number or the booking confirmation number to check in for your flight when using online check-in or the self-service kiosks at the airport.
Confirm your new SkyMiles balance. Once you redeem your miles, any points used in the transaction will be automatically deducted from your account. If there is an error with your updated mileage contact SkyMiles.
