SkyMiles is Delta Air Line's frequent flyer program. The program was originally established in 1981 and allows program participants to earn miles for flights taken on Delta and partner airlines and for making purchases from a variety of affiliated service providers and merchants. SkyMiles also allows participants to redeem miles for free flights and a variety of merchandise available through the SkyMiles Marketplace. You can also convert Sky Miles to hotel stays directly from the SkyMiles Marketplace.
Open a web browser on your computer and go to the SkyMiles Marketplace. You can find a link to this website in the resources section of this article.
Click on the link "Book a Hotel/Rent a Car" located on the left-hand side of the web page.
Enter your desired destination and travel dates in the appropriate fields and click the blue "Search" button.
Select your desired hotel from the list of hotels that matches your search query. Click on individual hotel listings for a detailed description of that hotel. The miles required to book the hotel is listed to the right of each hotel's name.
Click the blue "Continue" button to begin the booking process. Enter your SkyMiles number, your last name and your SkyMiles pin number. Click "Log In." Confirm your hotel reservation and click "Continue." to complete the hotel booking.
