Book your flight online through your Delta SkyMiles account, by phone through a customer service agent or in person at a Delta Airlines ticketing office.
Log-in to your Delta SkyMiles account and look for your preferred flight from there. Once you finalize your transaction, your SkyMiles account gets directly linked to your flight reservation. If you're making a reservation by phone or in person, simply provide your SkyMiles number located in your membership card. If you didn't bring your membership card, you may get your SkyMiles number by logging online. Make sure you are a registered user for online access to your account and you have your username and password with you.
Pay your ticket and doublecheck if your SkyMiles number is included in your reservation. If not, this means you won't be credited any mileage to your account yet. However, you can still request for your reservation and SkyMiles account to be updated by logging online or calling the SkyMiles customer service number. Simply provide your SkyMiles number and wait for the miles to be processed accordingly. The miles incurred for a reservation usually appears in your account a few days or weeks after taking the actual flight.
