How to Cancel Delta Sky Miles

Sky Miles is the name of Delta Airlines' frequent flier program. The more you fly on Delta, the more miles you accrue, which you can later apply to a free flight. However, emergencies occur and plans change. This means you may need to cancel a flight you booked with Delta's Sky Miles program. Although it is easy to cancel the flight, be aware that you may need to pay a fee if you want your miles back.

  Call Delta Sky Miles customer service at 800-323-2323. Have your ticket confirmation number ready to provide details to the customer service agent.

  Cancel the flight. Pay $150 per ticket canceled to have your miles redeposited into your account, as of April 2011. Diamond and Platinum Medallion members are exempt from paying fees for canceled miles.
- 3
  Wait for customer service agent to confirm the transaction has been completed, that the flight has been canceled and your miles have been redeposited.
