AirTran's frequent flyer miles program, A+ Rewards, allows flyers to manage and redeem their frequent flyer miles anytime. AirTran lets travelers purchase A+ credits to top off their account and will also allow travelers the opportunity to gain more airline points when they fly to any destination in the world, regardless of which airline company they choose to fly with. Redeeming your A+ Reward points is relatively easy once you create an AirTran account.
Create an A+ Rewards account. Your frequent flyer miles, also referred to as A+ Rewards, may be obtained through your AirTran account on the AirTran homepage. Create a user ID and password to keep track of all frequent flyer credits earned. Write down your AirTran rewards account number from your profile so you can redeem AirTran miles with it in the future.
Sign into your AirTrain account before booking a flight to be certain that your AirTrain miles are redeemable. According to AirTran.com, frequent flyer miles expire 12 months after the date that was posted to your A+ Rewards account.
Log into your AirTran account to request or redeem your rewards.
Sign into your A+ Rewards account if for some reason you are unable to redeem your miles before the flight. Click on "Request missing credits" for a review. Verification can take up to 72 hours before your account is credited.
