Book an award flight ticket. Navigate to "Redeem AAdvantage miles," and enter the details of your desired ticket. Click "Go" to search for tickets that you can buy with AA miles.
Book a hotel, car or both together. Navigate to "Car and Hotel Awards". Choose whether you want to book a hotel, car or both and enter the destination and date you require them. Click "Go" to see a list of results, along with the number of AA miles needed to buy.
Join the Admirals Club. Membership benefits include access to over 70 lounges worldwide with complementary snacks, beverages and Wi-Fi, assistance with reservations and discounted conference room rates.
Upgrade to an alternate class of service. You can upgrade from economy to business, or from business to first class. Navigate to "AAdvantage Mileage Upgrade Award Reservations" and click "View American Airlines Upgrade Awards" to see how many miles an upgrade will cost.
Go on vacation. Book a vacation through "American Airline Vacations" and use AA miles to pay in full or use cash to top up the value of your miles.
