How do I Combine Northwest & Delta Miles?

In late 2008, Delta Air Lines, Inc. merged with Northwest Airlines. As is common in airline mergers, the new carrier offered its customers the option to merge their loyalty program accounts. If you didn't take advantage of this service within the required time frame, however, Delta simply converted your Northwest WorldPerks account into a Delta SkyMiles account, regardless of whether or not you already had one. In order to combine your two accounts, you'll need to request that Delta merge them online.
