How to Merge Miles From Different Airlines

Frequent flyer miles are a way to earn seating upgrades, free tickets and other rewards. However, if you fly on a variety of airlines, you may find that you have enough miles for a reward but that these miles are spread across several different accounts. It is possible, however, to merge these different miles into a single account through middleman programs and to gain your reward, but be aware that it is not a one-to-one transfer. You will lose miles in the process.
