Flying can be stressful and uncomfortable. To improve the quality of your flight experience, try to book your seats in advance. The Israeli airline EL AL sets aside a number of seats on each flight that can be selected in advance. Try to do so at least 30 days before you fly. Business class will always have more legroom and wider seats than economy, but within each class there are still differences among seats at the same price. Whether you prefer window or aisle, or a seat closer to the exits or the lavatory, selecting your seat in advance can make flying more comfortable.
Go to the Seat Expert website and enter the name of the airline (EL AL), your flight number and date of departure. (See Resources.) You will see a diagram of the plane on which you'll be flying, along with a description of the best seats in each class (e.g., those with the most legroom).
Go to the EL AL website and click on "Manage My Booking."
Click on "Updating Reservation" and enter your Reservation Code, also known as the Passenger Name Record (PNR), and your last name. You can find the PNR on your ticket or in the booking-confirmation email. You will then see an option to update your seat choice.
Select your seats and save your booking.
