The Flight Explorer website allows you to track a flight to find out if it has departed and will arrive on time. Flight Explorer can track all flights worldwide and even plots planes that are in flight on a map, so you can see exactly where the plane is flying. Flight Explorer is easy to use, and you will have all the flight status information you need within minutes.
Go to the Flightexplorer site (see Resources below), click on "Free Tracking Tools" and look at the box titled "Flight Tracking" highlighted in blue.
Type in the flight number and click "Track." If you do not know the flight number, click on the link "Look Up Flight ID?" Select the airline, departure airport and arrival airport and click "Find Flights."
Select the correct flight and click on the Flight ID number. You will see a page with the departure time, arrival time and current flight status for both the departure airport and arrival airport, which will read "No Delay" or "Delay."
