How to Confirm If a US Air Flight Is on Time

Airline delays are the nightmare of every air traveler. There is nothing more annoying to a passenger whose flight is delayed, or the person waiting for a flight to arrive. US Airways have a system which can notify the passenger if their flight is going to be on time. A number of Internet sites exist as well where you can go and check the status of flights around the world.

  Send an SMS text message to US Airways at 800-428-4322. Include in the SMS your flight number and destination. US Airways will send you a confirmation of your flight status.

  Navigate to the US Airways website (see Resources). Click on the "View Flight Status" tab. Click on "Look Up By" drop-down menu. Designate either "Flight number" or "Origin/destination." Fill in the flight number or the departure and arrival city fields. Select your departure date from the drop-down menu. Click on the "View Flight Status button." Your flight status will be displayed.

  Open your web browser. Navigate to an online flight tracker (see Resources).

  Enter "US Airways" in the airline field. Enter the flight number. Enter the date of the flight and click search. Your flight status will be displayed. If you cannot remember your flight number, enter the departure and arrival cities and click "Search" for a range of results.
