Jacksonville International Airport Information

Jacksonville International Airport, known as JAX, is situated just a few minutes from downtown Jacksonville, Florida. More than a dozen major airlines, along with several regional carriers, provide service to JAX. Passengers can fly non-stop from JAX to many major cities in the United States.
  1. JAX Service

    • For the past decade the number of passengers using the airport has grown. JAX offers about 200 daily arrivals and departures. In 2007, a record number 6,319,510 passengers used the airport.

    JAX Airlines

    • In 2010, the major airlines providing service to JAX included AirTran, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Delta, JetBlue, Northwest Airlines, Southwest, United and US Airways.

    JAX Parking

    • JAX offers several parking options for passengers. There is the hourly garage, daily garage, daily surface lot, economy lots and valet parking. In 2010 the daily parking fees range from $6.00 in the economy lot to $20.00 for valet parking. Customers can pay for parking using cash, check or credit cards.

    JAX Passenger Pick Up and Drop Off

    • JAX provides a Waiting Lot for people picking up a passenger. The free Waiting Lot is a two-minute drive from the terminal. Arriving passengers call the person in the Waiting Lot to pick them up curbside at the terminal.
