How to Get Around Chicago Midway Airport

Trying to get around an airport can contribute to the stress of a trip or even delay it.       Know where to park. The economy lots are east and west of Cicero Avenue and on 55th Street. Free shuttles run every 15 minutes. Hourly parking is across the walking bridge on level 3, and daily parking is on levels 1,4,5 and 6.

      Know which concourse you will use. Midway has three. Since a collection of airlines occupies each, you can know your concourse by asking your travel agent or going on the Chicago Midway website.

      Eat at some of the restaurants, including Ben & Jerry's, Gold Coast Dogs, Halsted St. Tap, Manny's Deli or Harry Caray's. For early morning and late night, try the McDonald's in concourse B.

      Hail a taxi, bus or shuttle in front of the main terminal building. Purchase your tickets there as well.

      Stay at one of the hotels on Cicero Avenue. Shuttle service runs directly to and from the airport.
