How to Get Around New York on a Bus

MTA New York buses runs in all five boroughs of New York City. The MTA (Metropolitan Transit Authority) also includes the subway and rail options for commuting in New York City. There are several methods for navigating the city bus lines. The MTA website has a route finder that gives the numbers and times of buses needed to get from one location to another. The website also publishes maps of each of the bus and rail systems. When Internet access is not available, MTA maps can be found on buses and at bus stops.
