Go to New Century Travel.com or Bolt Bus.com to buy your ticket(s) and reserve your seating online. You will be asked to select your departing city and arrival city. You can also purchase tickets in advance at any station or over the phone. Walk up tickets can be purchased, but seats are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis.
Select your trip type, round trip or one way. Choose date of your departure and if booking round trip you will be asked to select the date of your return. New Century Travel has buses leaving Philadelphia for New York City approximately every half hour daily.
Find the departure time that you prefer in the list of available buses for that date. Select "Add to Cart" or "Buy Now" to book the trip of your choice. Continue shopping for additional tickets or click "Check Out" to be taken to the billing information page. Fill out the billing information form using a credit or debit card.
Complete your checkout and print your purchase confirmation page (E-Ticket.) New Century Travel will email your E-Ticket to you for printing after purchase.
Present your E-ticket and a valid photo ID at the time of departure. Board your bus at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Take your seat and enjoy the ride. Trips to New York City from Philadelphia take approximately 2 hours depending on weather and traffic. Depart from the bus at your destination in New York City.
