Available mid-May through September, the Rocky Mountain National Park bus tour offered by the Colorado Sightseer is a ten-hour trip that takes you along canyon overlooks, past pristine lakes and higher than 12,000 feet. A tour guide accompanies the trip to point out natural landmarks and wildlife. Lunch and snacks are provided, and the trip cost includes the entrance fee to the park.

Gray Line Denver starts its Rocky Mountain National Park bus tour at the Cherry Creek mall and then takes tourists through mountain passes and ski resorts to enjoy the views along the way. The bus stops for numerous photo opportunities, including Trail Ridge Road, which sits at 12,183 feet. Tour pickup from local hotels is available, but must be arranged directly through Gray Line Denver. The bus also stops in Winter Park on the way down to allow passengers a chance to stretch their legs and shop.

Based in Estes Park, the Rocky Mountain Limousine Service offers a party bus tour of Rocky Mountain National Park. The bus can seat up to 14 passengers who want to take pictures of wildflower meadows, mountain overlooks and animals like elk and bighorn sheep. The National Park buses give you the chance to access much more of Rocky Mountain National Park by connecting and transferring you to trail heads, visitor centers and picnic sites. By taking these established bus routes through the park, you can avoid having to deal with regular tourist traffic or finding a place to park.
