The Dream Class is new to the cruise line. Until the Carnival Magic makes its official debut, the Dream Class of ships consists of only the Carnival Dream. The ships have a cruising length of 1,004 feet and accommodate 3,652 travelers, making them the largest among the fleet. The Dream departs from Port Canaveral, Florida, for seven-day cruises to the Caribbean. Both ships feature a Cloud 9 Spa, Carnival Waterworks (an on-board mini water park), a seaside theater and a splash park.
The Fantasy Class Carnival Cruise ships accommodate 2,052 guests with a cruising length of 855 feet. The Fantasy Class consists of eight ships departing from multiple ports across the Eastern seaboard, Gulf of Mexico and Los Angeles. Each of the ships, the Fantasy, Ecstasy, Sensation, Fascination, Imagination, Inspiration, Elation and Paradise, provides an adults-only retreat area. Each ship also features Carnival Waterworks, with the exception of the Elation and Paradise, which feature a water slide. Dining and other on-board experiences are unique on each ship. One may offer miniature golf and elaborate guest suites, while another features a spa.
As of October 2010, the Destiny Class includes only the Carnival Destiny, a ship with a cruising length of 893 feet that accommodates 2,642 guests. The Destiny departs from Miami to the Eastern and Western Caribbean for four- and five-day cruises. The ship's features include a spa, grand library, Seaside Theater and a casino, the Millionaires Club.
The Carnival Triumph and Carnival Victory make up the cruise lines' Triumph Class, accommodating 2,758 guests each with a cruising length of 893 feet. The Triumph departs from New Orleans and Galveston, Texas, for four- to seven-day cruises to the Western Caribbean. Guests spend their time on board playing mini golf or taking in a show at the grand Rome Lounge. A trip on the Victory begins at the port at San Juan, Puerto Rico, for six- to eight-day cruises to the Southern Caribbean. The features of the ship include a spa, a sports bar shimmering in gold decor and the icy blue and chrome decor of the Arctic nightclub.
Led by the Carnival Conquest, the Conquest Class consists of an additional four ships, the Glory, Valor, Freedom and Liberty. The ships each have a cruising length of 952 feet and accommodate up to 2,974 guests. Each visits either the Eastern or Western Caribbean or both. The Glory also travels to Canada and New England, as well as offering the "Cruise to Nowhere" option with highlights such as the adults-only retreat and the Emerald Room Steakhouse. There are unique qualities to the other ships, such as a blues piano bar on the Conquest, Czar's Palace Casino on the Liberty, the '70s Dance Club on the Freedom and the Americana theme throughout the Valor from the Atrium lobby to the Washington and Lincoln dining rooms.
In a class on its own, the Splendor stands out with a two-level spa and gym facility for enjoyment after setting sail from Los Angeles for a six- to eight-day cruise to the Mexican Riviera. The ship accommodates 3,006 guests with a cruising length of 952 feet. Other features include a Moroccan-themed lounge and a Pirate-themed mini golf course.
Four ships make up the Spirit Class, the Spirit, Pride, Legend and Miracle. Each ship takes on up to 2,124 passengers with a cruising length of 963 feet. The Spirit cruises to Baja, Mexico, from multiple ports along the Western Seaboard and boasts the classic feel of deep woods, golden and glass accents throughout. Departing from Baltimore for the Bahamas and Caribbean, the Pride dares travelers to share their vocal and comedic talents at the Butterfly Lounge. The Legend takes on a mythical theme with Medusa's Lair dance club and a Unicorn Cafe during trips to the Caribbean from Tampa. The Miracle departs from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, to the Bahamas with an eye-catching ruby red glass ceiling atop the 11-story atrium in the ship's lobby.
