Kids-Stay-Free Cruises

While many cruise lines offer discounted fares for children, fewer cruise lines provide families with the benefit of children, even young toddlers and babies, cruising for free. Often, allowing kids to sail free is part of a special promotion or restricted to children under a certain age. Before booking a cruise with any cruise line, ask about any special offers or discounts currently offered for children.
  1. Cunard Cruise Line

    • The Cunard Cruise Line offers children between the ages of 1 of 2, who are the third or fourth guest in a stateroom, the opportunity to cruise for free. Children under 1 year old are not typically invited on Cunard cruises, though in some instances infants over 6 months are permitted to cruise for free as well. Children over age 2 are must pay all applicable fares, and do not sail free. Cunard Cruise Line offers a wide range of cruise vacations as well as transatlantic travel and all three of Cunard's ships offer special programs designed especially for children, ages 1 and up. The Queen Mary 2 offers a play area and a family pool, the Queen Victoria provides children with a specialized play zone, and the Queen Elizabeth offers a specialized children's program with both indoor and outdoor activities.

The Western Caribbean cruise docks at Key West, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Disney Cruise Line provides a wide range of activities for children to enjoy, including a dedicated nursery, children's play area and teen hangout on all of its cruise ships.
