Cruising the upper Mississippi River, the La Crosse Queen is one of the few authentic paddle-wheel riverboats still in operation in the country. The split stern-wheels provide the only means of propulsion. Guests can choose from sightseeing cruises, a champagne brunch, dinner cruises, a moonlight cruise, as well as a three-hour tour. The La Crosse Queen is also available for private party charters where guests can enjoy cocktails, meal service and live music. The sightseeing cruises give guests views of the steep bluffs of the river as well as various wildlife. Advance reservations are required for all meal cruises, while the sightseeing cruises are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Wisconsin River Cruise, which sets out from the Rhinelander area on the Wisconsin River, travels through the Northwoods to Hat Rapids, providing a fantastic sightseeing experience for the whole family. In addition to the sightseeing cruises, guests can take a dinner or brunch cruise, or make special reservations for a group or wedding event. Guests can choose from several menu and beverage options and reservations are required for all meal cruises.

The Princess Kay Riverboat can seat 150 passengers and sails the Wisconsin River as the only paddle boat in the Wisconsin Dells. The boat is available for private parties and weddings, and features ice-cream social, cocktail or sunset cruises. Private charters can accommodate any social gathering, from family reunions to business conferences and birthday parties. Two full-service bars, an open upper deck and a temperature-controlled dining room round out this authentic paddle-wheeler, said to be the biggest tour boat in the Dells, according to the Princess Kay website.
