WHAT IS THE SECOND LONGER RIVER IN KENT?
The River Medway is the second longer river in Kent. It is a major river that flows through the southeastern part of England and is the longest river in the county of Kent. The Medway originates near the village of Westerham and flows generally northeastward for about 70 miles (113 kilometers) before emptying into the Thames Estuary at Sheerness. The Medway is navigable for about 35 miles (56 kilometers) from its mouth.
